Your Buyers Agent on the Costa Blanca

Buying a home on the white coast — from Denia to Pilar de la Horadada.
Independent, on your side, specialising in the southern Costa Blanca.

Why the Costa Blanca?

The Costa Blanca — the "white coast" of the province of Alicante — has been the most popular region of Spain among international buyers for decades, and for good reason. Over 300 sunny days a year, an excellently connected airport, wide beaches and the most complete range of amenities on the Spanish coast.

But popularity has a downside: the market is huge, quality varies enormously and not every asking price is realistic. This is exactly where an independent buyers agent makes the difference: we compare the full market across all estate agents and developers — and negotiate exclusively in your interest.

North or South? Two faces of one coast

The Costa Blanca is not one uniform region — the north and the south differ greatly in landscape, atmosphere and price.

Costa Blanca North

Denia, Jávea, Moraira, Calpe and Altea: green, hilly and upmarket. Sea-view villas, authentic old towns and a higher price level. For buyers seeking character and nature.

Costa Blanca South

Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa and Pilar de la Horadada: flatter, more affordable and full of new builds. Golf resorts, wide beaches and a large international community. For buyers seeking value and amenities.

We guide buyers along the entire Costa Blanca and advise honestly which part suits your plans — even if that means pointing you towards the Costa Cálida instead.

The most beautiful towns on the Costa Blanca

A selection of the places where we guide buyers — each with its own character:

Jávea & Moraira

Two of the north's most beloved towns: characterful centres, sheltered coves and quality villas among the pine trees.

Altea & Calpe

The white artists' village of Altea and Calpe, dominated by the Peñón de Ifach: Mediterranean charm with every amenity within reach.

Guardamar del Segura

Kilometres of wide beach behind protected dunes and pine forests — one of the greenest coastal towns of the south, with a genuinely Spanish character.

Torrevieja

Lively coastal city with pink salt lakes, a long promenade and amenities open all year round. A favourite among international buyers.

Orihuela Costa

La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor: modern urbanisations, golf courses and wide sandy beaches — the heart of the southern new-build market.

Pilar de la Horadada & Mil Palmeras

The southernmost tip of the Costa Blanca, on the border with the Costa Cálida — just around the corner from our office. Quiet beaches and a village feel.

Our speciality: the southern Costa Blanca

We have known the coast from Almería to Denia since childhood — and our office in San Pedro del Pinatar sits right on the border of the Costa Cálida and the southern Costa Blanca. Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa and Pilar de la Horadada are literally around the corner.

Quickly on site for viewings and CasaScout inspections.
We know the new-build projects, developers and their reputations from practice.
We see what properties here actually sell for — not just asking prices.
Local network of lawyers, financial advisers and property managers.

Considering a new build? The choice in the south is enormous — and our full service is then completely free of charge for you, as we are paid by the developer.

How we guide you on the Costa Blanca

From introduction and search profile to viewings, negotiation, legal checks and the notary: we are entirely on your side — not the seller's. How it works step by step, and what it costs, is explained on our Buyers Agent Spain page.

Frequently asked questions about buying on the Costa Blanca

What is the difference between Costa Blanca North and South?
The north (Denia, Jávea, Moraira, Altea) is greener and hillier, with sea-view villas and a higher price level. The south (Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa, Pilar de la Horadada) is flatter and more affordable, with plenty of new builds, golf resorts and wide beaches. We guide buyers in both parts and advise honestly on what suits your wishes and budget.
How easy is it to reach the Costa Blanca?
Very easy: Alicante-Elche airport is served all year round from airports across the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. For the southern Costa Blanca, Región de Murcia International Airport (Corvera) is a good alternative. The AP-7 motorway takes you smoothly along the entire coast.
Can I rent out my Costa Blanca property to tourists?
The Costa Blanca falls under the Valencia region, where holiday rentals require a registration/licence. The rules differ per municipality and have been tightened in recent years. We check the rental potential of every property before you buy, so there are no surprises.
Is there a large international community on the Costa Blanca?
Yes — the Costa Blanca is home to one of the largest international communities in Spain, with English-speaking doctors, clubs, shops and restaurants widely available. Especially around Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa, and in the north around Jávea and Moraira, you will find services in English everywhere.
Why AnaCosta for the southern Costa Blanca?
